Halle Berry hopped on her Instagram account to express her belated Easter wishes to her millions of fans and followers. The actress, who won an Academy Award, confessed that she had completely forgotten to post a happy Easter message on the actual day. She blamed it on being on a family vacation and being preoccupied with cute bunnies. Berry, 57 years old and known for her role as a Bond girl, shared a heart emoji along with her apologies and hopes that everyone had a wonderful Easter. To illustrate her family holiday filled with bunnies, Berry posted a photo of herself playing with adorable rabbits alongside her two children.
Halle Berry, age 57, extended her Easter greetings about three days late on Wednesday, mentioning that she had been caught up playing with some adorable ‘bunnies’ on a ‘family vacation’. In the main picture, Berry can be seen crouching inside a pen full of animals, petting and interacting with a bunch of rabbits visible in the frame.
She opted for a laid-back look, wearing distressed blue jeans, a white jacket, black sneakers, and a Panama hat over her long, flowing light brown hair that reached past her shoulders. To complete her outfit, the Ohio-born actress wore stylish dark sunglasses while enjoying her time with the lovable rabbits.
In the photo, one of her two kids, either 16-year-old daughter Nahla or 10-year-old son Maceo, can be partially seen in a yellow hoodie, joining in on the fun by also kneeling down. Berry shared four more photos of the bunnies in the coop during their playtime.
Berry’s parenting journey began when she welcomed her daughter Nahla on March 16, who turned sixteen recently. Nahla is from Berry’s past relationship with model Gabriel Aubry. Five years later, Berry had her son Maceo in October 2013 with ex-husband and actor Olivier Martinez.
There was no mention if her current partner, Van Hunt, was present during the ‘family vacation’ for Easter. Berry and Hunt began their relationship virtually, meeting during the Covid-19 pandemic in September 2020. Berry confirmed their relationship in a social media post by revealing Hunt’s name on a shirt she wore. The couple made their first public appearance together at the 93rd Academy Awards held at Los Angeles’ Union Station in April 2021.
Berry would post additional pictures of the bunnies happily playing together in the animal pen.
The acclaimed actress, who has won an Oscar, mentioned that she did not remember to send Easter wishes to her 8.6 million Instagram followers because she was caught up spending time with her children during a ‘family getaway’.
She shared her Easter greetings on Instagram a few days after the holiday had passed.
Just like her loyal followers, the rabbits appeared completely captivated by Berry.
In her late Easter post, she didn’t reveal whether her current boyfriend, Van Hunt, was present for the ‘family vacation’ during the holiday.
The actress from Monster’s Ball and the songwriter behind Our Love Lingers crossed paths in September 2020 during the Covid-19 pandemic and their connection blossomed virtually. Fast forward eight months, and the actress openly declares her love for Hunt, dubbing him ‘the love of her life.’ During the Fourth Annual Celebration of Black Cinema & Television, she expressed gratitude for finding love amidst her struggles and failures, stating that she now recognizes what true love is after facing numerous setbacks. Hunt, who has a son from a previous relationship, has become a significant part of her life.
