Billi West, the photographer who captured the images, shared with ABC News that she came across a man cruising down the highway with a bald eagle peeking out from the front of his car. Surprisingly, he appeared oblivious to the majestic bird hitching a ride.

It took them around 20 minutes to find a way to release the bird. “We were caught off guard by how viral this story became,” West shared, noting that once she posted the photos on Facebook, her friends quickly began spreading them.
