A heartwarming moment unfolded in Bangkok’s Khwaeng Khlong Maha Nak as a baby elephant joyfully splashed around in a river while his attentive mother watched over him.
The young elephant is captured on video jumping into the water, rolling around, and creating playful splashes.

The footage, taken by local cameraman Channarong Tom Srisa-ard on March 22, highlights the playful nature of the calf in a conservation area dedicated to the ethical treatment of elephants.

This charming scene follows another delightful event from the same area, where a ‘nanny’ elephant took it upon herself to teach a hesitant baby elephant how to play in the mud.
In that video, filmed at Thailand’s Elephant Nature Park, the adult elephant dove into the mud, covering herself from head to toe, while the young calf watched and learned.
Encouraged by the nanny, the baby elephant eventually tried it, enthusiastically flopping onto the soft mud.
The video was shared by Steph Snowdon, a volunteer for Save the Asian Elephants, an organization dedicated to elephant welfare.
