Cuddles with Bunny! Meet Jester, the Enormous 20lb Rabbit Obsessed with STRICTLY Come Dancing and His Own Bedroom

Jester, the enormous 20lb rabbit and devoted Strictly Come Dancing fan, is so large that he has his very own bedroom on the second floor of his owner’s home. Lyn Hobson, 60, describes Jester as her “child,” as the rabbit weighing as much as three chihuahuas is pampered and doted on. At just 18 months old, Jester is already being groomed for a modeling career, but his ultimate joy comes from watching Strictly Come Dancing.

Jester, a hefty 20-pound pet bunny, is a Continental Giant rabbit, known for being one of the largest rabbit breeds, and has the privilege of having his very own bedroom in his owner’s house. The owner, Lyn, shares a home with Jester and her husband in Scunthorpe, North Lincolnshire, where Jester enjoys the luxury of having not just one, but three comfy beds scattered around the house.

Lyn fondly mentions that Jester is her constant companion throughout the day, happily mirroring her activities, especially when it involves lounging on the couch and watching their favorite show, Strictly Come Dancing. The retired chef proudly showcases Jester on his social media platforms, where they have garnered a significant following, even catching the attention of a rabbit-loving author.

As a result of their online presence, Jester has had the opportunity to feature on the front cover of an educational book and star as the main character in a children’s story. Lyn is excited about the prospect of Jester’s potential modeling career taking off and has set up a profile for him on a website to attract more opportunities for him in the future.

Lyn Hobson, a 60-year-old resident of Linconshire near Scunthorpe, loves spoiling her bunny, Jester, who is a huge fan of watching Strictly Come Dancing.

Jester has his own bedroom upstairs in Lyn's house, which is full of his toys and hay (pictured). He has a litter tray to go to the toilet and Lyn said he is so well trained that he 'never makes a mess'

Jester has his own little kingdom upstairs at Lyn’s place, with a cozy bedroom filled with toys and hay. He even has his own litter tray and is impeccably trained, never causing any mess. Lyn raves about how wonderful he is as a pet, describing him as loving, calm, and well-mannered.

She adores Jester so much and spoils him endlessly, treating him like her own child. Wherever she goes, he follows along, whether it’s watching TV or doing chores. He’s quite the sociable rabbit. Lyn, a mom living with her husband Peter, got Jester when he was just a few weeks old from a breeder in the North East, hence his playful name.

Unlike most rabbits kept in outdoor hutches, Lyn trained Jester to live indoors. He has the run of the house, and according to Lyn, even cleans his paws before coming in from the garden. With three comfy beds in the house, including one in his special bedroom upstairs, Jester is living his best life. Despite the surprise factor of having a Continental Giant rabbit as a pet, Lyn wouldn’t have it any other way.

Jester even starred as the main character in a children's book

He recently started his journey as a bunny model and has already graced the cover of an educational magazine on the left, as well as taken on the role of the main character in a popular children’s book on the right.

The gentle giant bunny is so well-behaved that he has free roam of the house and, according to Lyn, before entering the house from the garden he even wipes his paws

The kind-hearted giant bunny is so well-mannered that he has the freedom to wander around the house. According to Lyn, he even takes the time to clean his paws before coming inside from the garden. People are always amazed by his size when they see him, and everyone who meets him instantly falls in love with him. He has even been featured in two books, making him a bit of a celebrity in the rabbit world. Lyn hopes that he will have more opportunities for modeling work in the coming year, especially around Easter when things tend to get busy. The Continental Giant, also known as the German Giant, was initially bred for meat due to its impressive size. The largest recorded bunny of this breed was 4ft 4ins long and weighed a massive 53lbs.
