Animal care assistant Emma Calder is currently looking after a seven-month-old continental giant rabbit named Atlas who is in need of a new home. According to the centre’s manager, Anna O’Donnell, Atlas is the size of a west highland terrier and still has some growing to do. Described as a friendly and inquisitive rabbit who loves attention and cuddles, Atlas is sure to bring joy to any potential owner.
However, Anna made it clear that only experienced owners will be considered for Atlas due to his breed and size. She emphasized the need for plenty of space for Atlas as a standard rabbit hutch won’t suffice. Ideally, his new owner should have previous experience with continental giant rabbits to ensure proper care.
